Raphaella, by Claire Pettibone is a work of art rather than a gown. The gown is just one of many artistic expressions found her recent Gothic Angel Collection. Staying true to Pettibone’s signature whimsical and ethereal forms, the collections inspiration comes from an unusual place. Inspired from iconic cathedrals from around the world such as Notre Dame and Westminster, you can truly see the artistic and architectural value in the Gothic Angel collection. The Raphaella gown features guipure applique winged sleeves with ivory floral circular embroidery and a beautiful illusion back. Claire Pettibone has been referred to in the bridal fashion industry as “the queen of beautiful backs.” As shown in the last image of this post, the Raphaella gown does not disappoint.
