Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina presents School of Rock Wedding Inspiration

Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina featured an edgy, cool Rock n’ Roll inspired wedding design overlooking the beautiful Charleston Harbor. From the bride’s two-piece wedding gown with a gold and ivory leather top paired with funky, brightly colored metal jewelry to the pair’s epic ink on the wedding cake, the fashion and beauty is clearly apparent. But when you see the gorgeous decor including the white leather couches in the lounge and rad white leather dome chair behind the estate table, the black wine glasses atop chic black sequin linens, and the killer vinyl records as plate chargers, you’ll be ready to rock. And we’re going to give it to you. Get ready to rock all night long.

Some of my favorite details from this design include a Rock N’ Roll acrylic wedding invitation set and custom clear acrylic signs by Paper and Pine Co. and the raddest, most rocker chic wedding cake I’ve ever seen by Vintage Soul Cakes! Our color palette was unexpectedly moody and edgy with warm crimson red, cool blue inspired by 90’s denim, golden yellow, Black Sabbath black, dark lavender (we kept calling it Purple Rain!) and dusty rose. I loved the vinyl record plate chargers under simple clear glass plates paired with modern copper flatware and the bride’s funky, feathery bouquet, vintage bass and keyboard amps, and our bride and groom models sporting the coolest hand-crafted jewelry in the Holy City. It was so fun watching our vendor team let their creative juices flow to create this amazing School of Rock wedding! – Sara Skinner of Scarlet Plan & Design
