Maggie Cooper and Paul Roney were married December 2, 2017 at the Elms Mansion in New Orleans before 300 friends and family in a wedding coordinated by Betsy McKay of Salt Style & Events.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Forrest Cooper of Lakeland, Tennessee.  The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Steven Roney of Memphis, Tennessee. The reception immediately followed the ceremony beginning with a cocktail hour in the garden. The bride wore a strapless Alencon lace gown by Amsale from Maggie Louise Bridal Boutique in Collierville, Tennessee.  The historic mansion was decorated in beautiful shades of greens, golds, pinks, and neutrals with numerous candles for ambiance and gorgeous floral and décor provided by IRIS Floral + Event Design Studio. Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious food and beverage items that featured local New Orleans fare. The Bucktown All-Stars had partygoers dancing the night away; Maggie and Paul exited with a traditional second line with umbrellas and handkerchiefs in-hand. The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii.
