South Louisiana has a landscape and culture unlike anywhere else in the world so it was the perfect fit for this Southern millennial’s wedding inspiration shoot. The New Orleans area is most famously known for its residents’ cajun accents, majestic oak trees and ability to throw one heck of a party. It seems that nearly all of those characteristics were channeled into this stunning plantation setting.
The way in which the deep green Spanish Moss clings to the branches made the bold, spring colors pop right out of the bride’s hands. And while we’re at it, her simple yet elegant gown was the perfect choice for this location. It has the perfect amount of fabric to flow beautifully atop the blades of grass beneath her.
We’re also loving the risky choice of accessories on this groom. His brown bowtie was also an excellent way to pair the darker natural elements with his surroundings and give him an artistic vibe.
This entire shoot transports us to another, more urban, setting and is a nice way to showcase what Louisiana has to offer future millennial bride and grooms-to-be.
