Aerial and Malcom’s story began at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016. with a simple direct message on Instagram, leading to a meeting at the campus restaurant. From there, their love story blossomed, weaving together shared dreams and aspirations.
Malcolm proposed to Aerial at a Christmas gathering in Birkdale Village, Huntersville, NC on a wintry December evening, 2022. Surrounded by family and friends, Malcom professed his love beneath a towering Christmas tree, creating a magical moment that forever sealed their bond.
Prompted by Malcom’s immediate deployment to Mississippi, the couple hosted an intimate ceremony with immediate family at the Botanical Garden in Rockhill, SC, exchanging vows of everlasting love and devotion.
Over the course of the year, the couple planned their dream wedding, finding a charming Castle McCulloch in the heart of Greensboro, North Carolina as an ideal setting for their elegant affair. Fall colors of rustic brown, creamy hues and sunflowers adorned the venue. Aerial was the epitome of bridal elegance and glow. Guided by the tender words of Aerial’s aunt, who bestowed upon them her blessings as both a pastor and a cherished member of their family, their hearts were intertwined in a sacred union that would endure the test of time. Aerial and Malcolm’s wedding was a picturesque affair, infused with rustic charm and adorned in the golden splendor of wildflowers.
As the celebration continued into the evening, the rustic charm of the venue seamlessly transitioned into the reception space, where tables adorned with sunflower centerpieces beckoned guests to take their seats. They cut their wedding cake and shared a slice of cake & creme. Surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends, Aerial danced the night away, her groom by her side, their love igniting the dance floor.
