Golden, glamorous, rich & passionate – perfect words when thinking of Kristi and Steve’s opulent and magical wedding. The couple who met when they were only 15 years old, couldn’t help but become smitten with each other and the gorgeous details in their ceremony definitely illustrates their beautiful love story.
Kristi wanted her wedding to be lavish and completely unforgettable. This resulted in the use of over 2000 red, purple and marsala coloured flowers, hundreds of candles, a 5 tier gold foiled wedding cake and not one, not two but three haute couture wedding gowns.
Kristi had a very specific bridal style and wanted a gown (or rather gowns) that would reflect the opulence in her decor. Settling for a beautiful creation by designer George Elsissa – her first dress for the ceremony featured a stunning voluminous tulle train with a fitted sparkly detailed bodice. Combined with Sydney’s elite Ivy Ballroom and the result was simply magic that beautifully showcased Kristi and Steve’s unique personalities and deep love for each other.
