Derek and Gabriella shared their “day of” memories with Southern Bride and each of their flashbacks sounds like a complete fairytale!

THE BIG DAY
Derek: It was amazing. The entire day leading up to the ceremony seemed so long and I couldn’t wait to see Gabriella. It was everything I was hoping it would be. Walking back down the aisle, passing all of our family and friends as Mr. and Mrs. Watt was just such a special moment. We really are best friends and have basically been married for two years, the titles have just been officially added.
Gabriella: It just felt right. Suddenly, you’re husband and wife and everything seems like it’s just the way it’s supposed to be. I had the role of a wife for over two years and now I finally had the title.

THE HONEYMOON Derek and I spent our honeymoon in Bora Bora. It was the most perfect and unbelievable way to spend our first week as a married couple. We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow at the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort where we had the oppotunity to experience beautiful excursions around the island. From having a sunset dinner cruise for two to take a boat out to swim with the topical fish and coral, Derek and I will never forget our amazing time on the island.
