Photographer’s note:
Jeff and Amanda have known each other since high school. He calls her Blondie and the first set of dog tags he gave her have that inscription on it. Recently home from deployment, she honored his service and love by having them tied around her bouquet. With a love for vintage Cary Grant films (she says Jeff looks like him) she wore retro heels from Modcloth and red Hollywood lipstick. They got ready at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria and were married in an intimate ceremony at the Anthenaeum. They wrote their own vows and had a wine bottle included in their ceremony. It was sealed with letters to each other in a handmade wine box. With family all around, they enjoyed a small reception at Blackwall Hitch.
