The First Encounter

He took me to our favorite restaurant, which was also happened to be the location of our first date, Pappas Steakhouse, for dinner. Afterward, he whisked me over to a nearby park that was beautifully lit with Christmas lights and asked me to marry him. Afterward, we went to a surprise engagement party.

In Preparation

We had planned a very small intimate wedding so the preparation was very minimal. My dress designed was custom designed by “It Seams Right.” We requested that the few guest in attendance wear our wedding colors, black and red, which made our photos look beautiful.

The Big Day

The most beautiful day. I walked down the aisle to my groom to the song “Cornerstone”. We were married at my husband’s hometown church, St. James Catholic Church in front of our parents, siblings, and four-month-old son. Following the ceremony, we had dinner at Pappadeux Seafood Kitchen.

The Retreat

We actually haven’t had a chance to take our honeymoon yet. My groom, Kareen, is very busy with medical school, so we haven’t had an easy time finding the perfect window for a trip.
