The Proposal
Ever since meeting in the Windy City of Chicago a month before the pandemic, Tyler and Kristin knew they had found their forever person or, given the times, their “quaranteam” for life. The two Chicago natives had their first date at the rooftop bar, The J.Parker, in Lincoln Park and shared their stories over a bottle (or two) of rose’ wine.
Fast forward one year later, Tyler planned the proposal of a lifetime for Kristin on what would also be her 32nd birthday. The two were already traveling to their favorite spot, Seaside or otherwise known as 30A, for a week-long trip with Kristin’s family, and Tyler seized the quality family time to make it a week to remember.
As the sun set over the ocean on April 22nd, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Kristin to marry him in front of both their families.

In Preparation
Following Tyler’s proposal, the two planned their wedding with the help of their dear family and friends. Knowing most of their family lived in a variety of places, Kristin and Tyler chose to wed in Nashville, TN at the Country Music Hall of Fame. They knew this was the perfect spot to commit their lives to one another, especially amongst the country music love stories from generations.
The couple booked esteemed wedding planner Rachael Steacy, timeless wedding photographer Demi Mabry, videographers Think Media, and florals from L.M.A Designs.
Kristin and her mother traveled to NYC and said yes to the dress at the iconic wedding destination, Kleinfeld’s and chose a Pnina Tornai design.

The Big Day
The sun was shining for Tyler and Kristin on the day of their wedding. Family and friends had traveled from every part of the country to be a part of their day – and the day was everything they could have dreamed.
Kristin sparkled in her Pnina Tornai wedding gown, wore her hair down in cascading curls, and finished her look with a cathedral-length veil.
Tyler was dashing in a classic black tuxedo and sported a new pair of custom loafers to add a little of his personality.
The two got ready at the J.W. Marriott and had their first look on the rooftop of the hotel with Nashville sweeping before them. The two later met up with their wedding party on Old Town Trolley and took photos all around the city.
Kristin and Tyler exchanged their vows in the Country Music Hall of Fame rotunda, with the words, Let The Circle Be Unbroken engraved on the walls around them, along with the love from their beloved family and friends.

The Retreat
The newlywed Ohlmansieks will be going back to where they got engaged and honeymooning at The Watercolor Inn in Seaside, FL. They’re excited for the time by the ocean, quality time together, and maybe a glass or two of rose’ wine.
