The Proposal
Nestled in the rolling hills of Northwest Arkansas—Jacob proposed to Casey beneath a majestic oak tree at sunset. Upon arrival, Casey followed a winding path of white rose petals to the spot under the tree where Jacob waited on a bended knee. The proposal was a wonderful surprise that the newly engaged couple felt captured the essence of their relationship—rooted in nature and flourishing in love.

In Preparation
After sharing several years of a long-distance connection and building a life together in Arkansas, Casey and Jacob began planning for their dream wedding. They decided on Florence Farms in Northwest Arkansas as their venue location. The gorgeous space created the perfect backdrop for their wedding day, infused with natural landscapes and stunning greenery. Casey and Jacob wished to intertwine their western lifestyle with chic elegance—doing so with details of gold horseshoe and feather plate decorations, a vintage mechanical riding bull, and rustic and warm floral arrangements.

The Big Day
Casey and Jacob’s wedding day was a dream come true for the couple who had envisioned the celebration since their high school days. The venue was transformed with lovely floral arrangements designed to “bring the outside in,” creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an enchanted forest. The decor included meaningful elements like antler sheds (a nod to Casey’s childhood hunting days), magnolia flowers (which grew outside Casey’s childhood home), and fall foliage reminiscent of the fall season when Jacob proposed.
The bride and groom’s fashion choices perfectly captured their own “Western Chic” aesthetic. True to her Texas roots, Casey wore cowboy boots with her gown, embodying her self-described “boho country chic” style with flowing fabrics and intricate beading on her gown’s bodice. Jacob opted for a comfortable yet distinguished look, wearing jeans with a black coat from Men’s Warehouse.
The wedding celebration continued with a reception complete with the couple’s favorite food—pizza—along with vodka pasta and salad options. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres of grilled cheese and tomato shooters, a nod to Casey’s time working at Panera Bread during their long-distance relationship. The couple’s three-tier white cake was adorned with floral accents matching the venue’s decor and topped with a special cake topper that they now display in their home as a lasting reminder of their special day.

The Retreat
For their honeymoon, Casey and Jacob traveled to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, staying at the Sheraton Steamboat Villas. The newlyweds enjoyed an adventure-filled getaway with ski and snowboard lessons, gondola rides overlooking mountain vistas, dog sledding in Routt National Forest, hot springs visits, hiking, and shopping. Casey and Jacob decided upon Steamboat Springs as their honeymoon destination, as they plan to return to Colorado annually for future family vacations.
