Internship Position: Graphic Design*

Southern Bride is seeking an undergraduate student focusing on Graphic Design and Journalism. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on their own, meet deadlines, have a creative eye, and be task-oriented. Creative writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also a plus. The student must have their own laptop and Adobe Suite software and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. Interns will be focused on resizing images from print to web for most of the images utilized for the blog, real weddings, and featured vendor posts. This person will also be building real wedding and featured vendor posts. Students must be proficient with Adobe’s Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, especially when resizing images between website and print. Blogging, HTML, WordPress, Excel, and/or Microsoft Word experience is a bonus and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.

Internship Position: Marketing/Sales*

Southern Bride seeks an undergraduate student focusing on Sales, Marketing, and Advertising. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be task-oriented, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The student must have their own laptop and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. WordPress, Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or sales experience are a bonus and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.

Internship Position: Writing and Fashion Assistants*

Southern Bride seeks an undergraduate student focusing on Fashion, PR, Journalism, Photography, Social Media, Graphic Design, or the Wedding Industry. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be task-oriented, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The student must have their own laptop and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. Students must be familiar with Adobe’s Creative Suite. Blogging, HTML, WordPress, Excel, and/or Hootsuite experience is a bonus and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.

Internship Position: Social Media Assistant (POSTING, Analytics, Research, and Video)*

Southern Bride seeks an undergraduate student focusing on Social Media, Marketing, and/or Digital Marketing. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on their own, meet deadlines, have a creative eye, be social media analytics savvy, have creative writing skills, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The student must have a laptop and cell phone and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. Students must be familiar with all social media outlets, how to use the functions on each outlet, social media planning/scheduling apps and tools (Later, Hootsuite, etc.), and be able to keep up with the ever-changing world of all things social media.

Internship Position: Social Media Assistant (POSTING, Analytics, Research, and Video)*

The student must have a laptop and cell phone and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. Students must be familiar with all social media outlets, how to use the functions on each outlet, social media planning/scheduling apps and tools (Later, Hootsuite, etc.), and be able to keep up with the ever-changing world of all things social media.

Internship Position: Event Intern (Organizing, Scheduling, Communication, and Social Posting)*

Styled by Southern Bride seeks an undergraduate student focusing on Live Events, Social Media, Marketing, and/or Digital Marketing. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on their own, meet deadlines, have a creative eye, be able to communicate and organize effectively, be social media analytics savvy, have creative writing skills, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The student must have a laptop and cell phone and be virtually available for 15-20 hours per week. Students must be familiar with all social media outlets, how to use the functions on each outlet, social media planning/scheduling apps and tools (Later, Hootsuite, etc.), and be able to keep up with the ever-changing world of all things social media.

Internship Position: Intern to the Webmaster (Computer Science)*

Southern Bride is looking for undergraduate or graduate student(s) whose focus is on web development, design, maintenance, administration, etc. This person(s) should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be task-oriented, and have a working knowledge (not just an understanding) of the following: PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and WordPress. Abilities and interests in Linux, JSON, Python, graphic design, journalism, social marketing, and SEO are a bonus. They will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position(s). The student(s) must be fluent in English, have their own laptop, and be available for at least 15-20 hours per week. The internship is to be completed remotely, and applicant(s) must reside within the time zones of the lower 48 of the USA.

*These are non-paid internships, but academic credit is available through most universities.
