Happy 4th of July, Southern Brides! In honor of the holiday we, of course, have an Americana inspired inspiration shoot to share with you. Showing off our patriotic side, we’re in love with the red, white, and blue patterns and serenity of these images.
Florist’s Note
“As a wedding florist, I was seeing inspiration in the form of red, white and blue way before the upcoming holiday and wanted to share my enthusiasm. On a hot summer evening I convinced my lovely friend (and soon-to-be bride), Jennifer, to pick out a few patriotic fashion pieces and accessories and model for a little styled shoot along the bay in Ocean City, Maryland. Nothing really says, “Happy Fourth!” like cut off jean shorts and baseball tees.I used a textural mixture of blooms to create a patriotic, whimsical, asymmetrical bouquet. The hand-tied bouquet consisted of over a half-dozed red roses, blue delphiniums, white garden roses, kale, carnations, greenery and a selection of home-grown wildflowers plucked straight from my garden at home. The bouquet was wrapped with navy silk and tied with striped red and white ribbon. A matching crown of fresh flowers accented the fun bouquet.”-Ami Reist of Little Miss Lovely
