WINNERS FOR BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AND DESIGN AT BERINGER VINEYARDS
NAPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA

Congratulations, Ashley Piper of Southern & Grace Photography, for BEST Photography.
Congratulations, Kendall Erlenbusch of Kendall Melissa Events, for BEST Design Award.
Congratulations, Beringer Vineyards, for BEST Design Award.
Beringer Vineyards is Napa’s oldest continuously operating winery located in St. Helena. Founded in 1876 by German brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer, the vineyard exemplifies European charm and a standard in winemaking. The expansive estate is recognized as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Its Rhine House mansion, a replica of the family’s home on the Rhine River in Germany, serves as the focal point for Beringer’s reserve and library tastings, where visitors can savor a glass of wine while unwinding on the porch with views of the sprawling lawns and lush gardens.

Inspired by the historical setting, designer Kendall Erlenbusch created a modern twist on a bygone era. The design heavily relied on shapes, textures, and colors to achieve a continuous design with rounded and circular shapes and structures.

To modernize the design, the team used colors that would stand out against the natural surroundings, such as romantic lavender and blush hues, paired with bold colors like yellow, orange, and hints of mauve. These bold colors evoke bliss, joy, and a touch of whimsy.

Nature was a key focus, with rounded and circular structures, layouts, and design taking center stage. The vision was to bring lush gardens to the forefront of the ceremony and extend the elements of nature to the al fresco dining tables. Guests could envision themselves dining under a canopy of trailing greenery and hints of blooms peeking out overhead. The goal was to seamlessly integrate nature and the outdoors while creating an elegant tablescape fit for a prince and a princess.
