Styled SHOOTS by Southern Bride is a wedding photographer competition where we feature some of the best wedding photographers across the nation. The photographers are provided the same venues decorated by top local wedding planners and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from various regions. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue. The best design is voted by our viewers on Southern Bride Facebook live. The Ireland competition include 5 local wedding planners and 5 exceptional venues: Ashford Castle, Ballyfin, Carton House, Cashel Palace, and Dromoland Castle.

Our timeless love story begins in a spectacular, romantic garden in Ireland. Two young lovers catch each other’s eye from across the garden, only a sea of pink roses separating them. Soon after, letters are exchanged, declaring their love for one another and they agree to meet together in the garden for a tea. They fall in love, and have their wedding in the castle’s garden, celebrating with their loved ones.
This rustic yet refined shoot took place at the Cashel Palace Hotel in the charming heritage town of Cashel, known for its sprawling farmland and centuries-old Celtic ruins. The castle, which was built in 1732 as a home for the archbishop of the Church of Ireland, has become a sought-after castle wedding venue in Ireland since its opening as a hotel in 2022. This particular styled shoot emphasized the exterior manicured gardens of the property and its elegant interior art collection. The shoot also featured the hotel’s pub, Donoghue’s, which serves local brews and embraces the culture of warm Irish hospitality and authetic brewing. Set against the historic Rock of Cashel, this venue offers a breathtaking backdrop and combines medieval ruins with modern wedding amenities.
