When dreaming about what we wanted this styled wedding to look like, our main goal was to urge upcoming couples to be bold with color and style when planning their wedding. Jules Design Event Florals took the lead in creating a mood board that leaned toward a luxe, fashion-forward shoot. Pulling inspiration from the Oscars (hence: the groom’s brooch) and fashion-forward style blogs, Julie meticulously planned every little detail.
Longtime luxury wedding photographer Dale Benfield helped coordinate the styled shoot by bringing in some of Northwest Arkansas’ best vendors to bring the vision to life. An exclusive venue (Greystone Beaver Lake), a celebrity chef (Jennifer at Shelby Lynn’s Cake Shoppe), and a boutique wedding dress shop (Tesori Bridal) all gave their talents to make this shoot a success.
What drew us to Greystone was its versatility and exclusivity. The grounds outside the manor were transformed by Jules’ florals. The fountain “poured flowers” instead of water, which would be a dreamy backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Inside, the rentals from Alchemy Event Rentals transformed the dining room into a rich and warm reception setup. The great room boasted a massive fireplace and piano that served well for portraits with our real-life couple. As the sun was setting, we utilized the downstairs billiards and bar area for more intimate-style portraits of the bride and groom.
When one bouquet won’t do, choose two. We love the current trend of having a wedding bouquet and then a separate bouquet for the reception. Both can be used in wedding portraits to show different vibes. Jules Design and her team carefully and intentionally placed each piece on both bouquets.
The dress was chosen after consulting with Tesori Bridal and sharing the mood board. It was designed by Dany Tabet and worn by model Chaney Baumgardner, who is also the lead stylist for Tesori. Mr. Tux NWA provided the groom’s attire, and Jules Design provided the brooch.
Paper goods from Shindig Paperie in Fayetteville, AR, put the finishing touches on this exclusive styled wedding.
