Styled SHOOTS by Southern Bride is a wedding photographer competition where we feature some of the best wedding photographers across the nation. The photographers are provided the same venues decorated by top local wedding planners and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from various regions. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue. The best design is voted by our viewers on Southern Bride Facebook live.
The Fredericksburg competition includes top 4 local wedding planners and 4 exceptional venues: Contigo Ranch Fredericksburg, Hoffman Haus, La Bonne Vie Ranch and Swallows Eve.

The styled design highlights the Texas wine culture and the peach orchards that Fredericksburg is known for deep in the Texas Hill Country. The chosen color palette draws from the warm tones of sun-kissed peaches, with hues ranging from soft blush to deep coral. Earthy tones, reminiscent of the rugged terrain, are woven throughout to ground the design in the authenticity of the Texas landscape. These colors reflect the choice of materials with reclaimed wood in the seating chart and textured fabrics providing a tactile connection to the Texas Hill Country.
The furniture and decor embrace a blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Plush-seating upholstered in soft fabrics mixed with modern florals balances out the design. The dominant peach color throughout the design softens the vibrant flower hues and maintains the cohesiveness of the installations in each space. Floral company BlumeCo Haus Events created a hanging structure over the head table so the florals were more like clouds hovering over the farmhouse tables adding glamour to the outdoor space. The overall ambiance is one of relaxed sophistication, where guests can savor the flavors of Texas wine and peaches in a setting that pays homage to the area. Careful thought was given to each detail – from the watercolor envelope liner to the monogrammed velvet napkin ties, so every detail matters.
