This elegant lemon and lime southern wedding inspiration has us living the best of both worlds at The Columns in sweet home Alabama. While maintaining the simple, rustic appeal of an outdoor wedding, this styled shoot doesn’t forget the fun of adding bright oranges, yellows, and pinks to the big day.
An assortment of vintage bikes and trucks are featured to give the outdoor shoot an even more rustic feel that you can’t go wrong with. In addition, classic vintage furniture works as great pieces to display the bridal party.
Beautiful chandeliers hanging from the oaks give an added touch of elegance, while the horse and carriage gives a more traditional, romantic feel.
A number of cakes are highlighted during this shoot including the traditional white tiered cake, and even ranging to the more eclectic yellow, orange, and green dessert accented with the 3 L’s; lemons, limes, and leaves.
This lovely trio carries over into the centerpieces and acts as a beautiful backdrop for the rest of the shoot.
The family style dinner table with a variety of wooden chairs gives the meal a more humble, earthy feel, while the impressive centerpieces and china keeps the elegance of the wedding.
The outdoor swing decorated with lush green vines and flowing white linen has us wishing we were relaxing under the shade of the oaks on a warm summers day.
