Rheagan Courville and James Branton were married on January 8, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the historic Spanish Custom House (owned by the groom’s uncle) near the beloved Bayou St. John. Guests were seated on the front lawn and witnessed the bride’s arrival in a Navy Blue Rolls Royce Cullinan, privately owned by the groom. Rheagan, eight months pregnant with their first child, looked radiant in her Reem Acra ivory ballgown with a crystal and pearl bow nestled over her baby bump.
The bride walked the elegantly decorated garden walkway with a pearl-adorned cathedral-length veil customed by I Do Bridal Couture. The groom’s mother officiated the sentimental and intimate ceremony. Guests sipped Veuve Clicquot champagne as they walked towards the reception, under the majestic oak trees, admiring the fountain and gardens, the property’s tall, open glass doors, and the remarkable artwork.
Event planner Terry Cambise and her talented team prepared the memorable setting that included a beautiful monogrammed dance floor wrap within a chandeliered tent and elegant lounge furniture provided by Element rentals. Gorgeous florals by the talented Gene Luke of Ambrose Gardens punctuated the space.
The festive event was filled with laughter, dancing, spirits, and delicious food by Chef Glen Hogh. Rheagan and James shared a special moment watching fireworks shoot across the sky before they bid farewell to their loving family and friends.
