Photographer’s note:
Halloween was the inspiration for this shoot. We did not want to use the typical orange and black that is usually associated with Halloween, but wanted to create an elegant Halloween styled wedding, showing couples that Halloween weddings can be just as beautiful, fun, and elegant as any other time of year. This shoot will inspire those couples who are looking to stand out on their day, have fun, and try something different. I have always been drawn to darker color pallets and when I came across maroon colored Calla Lilies the inspiration started flowing. I knew I wanted to use the darker shades of flowers and associate black and golds into the color scheme. Every piece of décor was meant to tie back into the flowers, whether it be the floral plates, the glitter skulls, or the beautiful three-tiered cake, every color really set the mood and made this shoot magical. The grey and gold Hayley Paige dress really was the icing on the cake and brought the shoot to life.
