Styled SHOOTS by Southern Bride is a wedding photographer competition where we feature some of the best wedding photographers across the nation. The photographers are provided the same venues decorated by top local wedding planners and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.

The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from local areas. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue. The best design is voted by our viewers on Southern Bride Facebook live. The New Orleans competition includes top 4 local wedding planners and 5 exceptional venues: The Four Seasons, Windsor Court, Latrobe & Degas House, and Brennan’s.

Congratulations, Amanda Price Events, for Best Design Award

Designer Amanda Price of Amanda Price Events infused a vibrant array of colors into an otherwise neutral ballroom. The ceremony took place in a fairly basic hotel garden, where she used elaborate floral designs to enhance the space. These floral arrangements then seamlessly carried the theme into the ballroom and the cake stand area. The color scheme was inspired by the brand-new linens from BBJ Tavola. Given that the room had blue undertones, the designer used this as a calming reference point, incorporating cool shades of blue and purple into the stationery and bar while complementing the colorful florals.
