The photographers are provided the same venues decorated by top local wedding planners and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from various regions. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue. The best design is voted by our viewers on Southern Bride Facebook live. The Nashville competition includes top 3 local wedding planners and 3 exceptional venues: the Four Seasons, Union Station Nashville Yards, and Country Music Hall of Fame.

Our styled shoot for Southern Bride was a captivating blend of old-world charm and contemporary sophistication inspired by the historic essence of the hotel, established in 1900. We aimed to reimagine a modern avant-garde design, seamlessly integrating elements from the past with innovative touches of the present.
Evoking the timeless elegance of the early 20th century, we adorned the venue with lush deep florals, vibrant fruits, and rich colors, paying homage to the hotel’s storied past while infusing it with a sense of opulence and luxury.
Every detail was carefully curated to embody the juxtaposition of tradition and innovation. From the ornate tassels on the menus to the majestic busts adorning the tables, each element reflected a harmonious blend of vintage aesthetics and contemporary design.
To add a modern twist, we incorporated elements like sleek acrylic accents, offering a nod to current trends while complementing the historical backdrop with a touch of minimalistic sophistication.
The styled shoot celebrates the timeless allure of the past, reinterpreted for the modern couple. It was a testament to the enduring beauty of old-world elegance brought to life with a fresh and innovative perspective, capturing the essence of a bygone era infused with contemporary charm.
