This design concept is a bold, vibrant celebration of Pride Month and the unapologetic artistry of Chappell Roan. As a rising star and vocal advocate for the queer community, Chappell brings a theatrical, boundary-pushing energy to the stage, often incorporating drag-inspired makeup, fashion, and performances. Her commitment to inclusivity, from featuring local drag performers to embracing maximalist aesthetics, serves as the foundation for this design.
Infused with a slight Vegas twist, the concept channels glitz, drama, and extravagance while keeping Chappell’s signature style at the forefront. The color palette is a striking mix of pinks and blues, reflecting both playfulness and power. Every element is designed to be immersive, joyful, and welcoming—an invitation for everyone, but especially for the girls, to embrace self-expression without limits.
This isn’t just a design; it’s a love letter to the queer community, a statement of pride, and a space where boldness reigns.

Styled SHOOTS by Southern Bride is a wedding photographer competition where we feature some of the best wedding photographers across the nation. The photographers are provided the same venues, decorated by top local wedding planners, and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a local wedding design and photography competition showcasing talented wedding professionals’ work. Each design team is tasked with creating an exceptional wedding ceremony, reception setting, and ‘wild card’ space within popular venues nationwide. The editors at Southern Bride vote on the winners for each of the design awards. These designs are featured in Southern Bride Magazine, SouthernBride.com, and Southern Bride’s social media outlets.
