The Proposal
Baylee and Ryan’s love story began in the most modern way: on Hinge. However, it quickly proved to be anything but ordinary. Their first date, a casual movie night followed by an hour of conversation in the car, set the tone for a relationship rooted in connection and humor. From the start, Ryan was intentional in pursuing Baylee, and their bond only deepened with time.
Ryan proposed on July 12, 2024, during a trip to Florida while visiting family. Originally planning a proposal in Colorado, he pivoted after the couple decided to prioritize purchasing a home. Under the guise of a beach photoshoot, Ryan surprised Baylee with a heartfelt proposal by the water, capturing the moment in photographs that marked the beginning of their next chapter.
In Preparation
In planning their wedding, Baylee and Ryan were drawn to a clear vision: timeless elegance with a cinematic, old-Hollywood feel. They chose Southall Farm & Inn in Franklin, Tennessee, as the venue. They decided to host a destination-style weekend close to their current home. That way, all guests could stay together and fully immerse themselves in the celebration, making a weekend trip.
While the couple initially envisioned an intimate ceremony, they ultimately wanted to include everyone who had impacted their lives and expanded the guest list to over 300 attendees. With the help of their planning team, much of the process felt seamless, though final decisions carried the natural pressure of wanting everything to be perfect. Throughout it all, they remained focused on creating a meaningful experience that reflected their relationship.
Intentionality shaped every choice. Faith played an important role, with a traditional ceremony officiated by a pastor they felt deeply connected to. Music was another priority, leading them to incorporate both a live band and a DJ for an energetic, unforgettable reception. The wedding was designed as more than a single event, featuring a welcome dinner that allowed guests to gather and celebrate throughout the weekend.

The Big Day
On April 12, 2025, Baylee and Ryan’s vision came to life in a celebration that felt both ethereal and deeply personal. Guests arrived at a waterfront ceremony, welcomed with champagne and an all-white altar that created a romantic, dreamlike setting. The ceremony remained traditional and concise, with meaningful touches like a reserved front row for close family and a commemorative moment honoring Ryan’s mother.
Baylee wore a lace, long-sleeved Rita Vinieris ballgown that was both modern and elegant, with a high neckline and sweeping train. She walked down the aisle to “You Are the Reason” by Calum Scott.
The reception was held in a glowing, clear-top tent with chandeliers and string lights. The culinary experience consisted of multiple stations—from pasta and tacos to entrées like New York strip loin and Tuscan salmon. They ended the evening with a five-tiered white cake and an assortment of desserts.
From custom signature drinks and live illustrations to a photo booth and interactive details, there were many thoughtful experiences throughout the celebration. Black-and-white hand-drawn motifs were included throughout the reception design, along with stationery, signage, and escort card display. As the night continued, the guests migrated to the dance floor, where both a live band and DJ kept the party alive.

The Retreat
The couple chose to delay their honeymoon to fully soak in the wedding experience without feeling rushed. They plan on eventually going on a tropical, all-inclusive getaway later in the year.
For both Baylee and Ryan, the wedding marked more than a celebration—it symbolized commitment, partnership, and the beginning of a shared future. As they step into married life, they look forward to building a family and continuing to create a life grounded in love, support, and joy.
