The Proposal

Seth proposed to Diane the night before their anniversary of dating at a picturesque covered bridge with their siblings waiting nearby, ready to celebrate their joyous occasion. Afterward, the newly engaged couple, with their friends and family, gathered at Variant Brewing in Rosewell, Georgia, to enjoy their first day of engagement.

In Preparation

Diane and Seth decided to have their wedding in Diane’s hometown, as both of Seth’s parents had grown up in that same area. They wanted to share this special place in East Tennessee with their friends and family. Diane’s mother played a significant role in helping with all the wedding planning for the big day, especially since Diane’s sister had gotten married at the same venue just four months prior.

The Big Day

Surrounded by friends and family, Diane Storie and Seth Perryman were married on August 5, 2023, at the Blackthorn Country Club in Jonesborough, Tennessee. It was a perfect wedding day with gorgeous sunny weather. Diane and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house, while Seth and his groomsmen went skeet shooting in town. Diane and Seth took most of their wedding photos in their parents’ yard, one of Diane’s favorite places.

The Retreat

Diane and Seth traveled to the beautiful island of St. Lucia for their honeymoon. The newlyweds spent two nights at the fabulous Ladera Resort. The resort has an open room concept and amazing secluded views of St. Lucia’s famous Pitons. They spent the remainder of the week at Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort.
