The Proposal
Blake proposed to Kendall one Saturday evening as they were relaxing at home together, perusing their record collection, and enjoying a couple of cocktails. Quality time together is something they both cherish and prioritize in their relationship, which is why Kendall absolutely loved their at-home proposal. Sharing this special and intimate moment between themselves was perfect and is a true reflection of who they are as a couple. Blake and Kendall celebrated by playing fetch with their dogs in the backyard, and both agreed there was no better place to begin their marriage journey than the first place they put down roots together.
In Preparation
The day after the engagement, Kendall began to develop a vision for their big day. She combed through endless Instagram accounts and Google searches on a mission to draw inspiration from other brides. She quickly came to realize that the demands of planning a wedding can be overwhelming and began reaching out to vendors who helped bring Kendall’s vision to life. All of their vendors worked seamlessly to ensure everything came together on time.
The Big Day
The couple’s stunning wedding at White Fox Cottage was both classic and charming. It was a day filled with smiles, joyful tears, and laughter from the couple’s loved ones. Well-styled, this ceremony and reception are sure to inspire with romantic and sentimental details that are traditional with just a touch of whimsical. Kendall was a vision in her satin mermaid gown featuring an off-the-shoulder design that was absolutely alluring. Bright blooms against an otherwise pastel color palette kept a fresh but inviting look for their design and set the stage for a lovely afternoon. The multicolored bridesmaid’s dresses mixed things up while Blake wore a grey-toned suite that was cohesive with each of his groomsmen.
The Retreat
Following the wedding, Kendall and Blake spent a week on the sunny beaches of Curacao, a Dutch Caribbean island. They stayed at the new all-inclusive, five-star Sandals® Royal Curaçao and enjoyed beautiful views of the pristine coastline from their room and gourmet dining at the on-site restaurants. Kendall and Blake visited the historic and colorful Willemstad city center, went on a sunset catamaran cruise, and snorkeled in the blue room cave. Blake also booked a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach to celebrate Kendall’s first birthday as a married woman. It was the perfect first week as husband and wife, and they’ll be reminiscing on the trip for years to come.
