The Proposal

On a November day in 2003, Kolby and Badin escaped for a weekend in the North Carolina mountains. While on a hike, one Kolby admits she hadn’t been eager to take, Badin completely surprised her with a proposal. The unexpected moment quickly became one of her most cherished memories, filling her with pure joy.

In Preparation

With a year and a half to plan, Kolby and Badin were able to take their time and truly enjoy the process. They explored countless vendors to ensure every detail was just right, making their wedding day all the more meaningful. Along the way, one of their favorite memories was celebrating with loved ones at a sweet and unforgettable engagement party.

The Big Day

Kolby and Badin’s wedding day was everything they had envisioned and more. Under sunny skies, the couple exchanged vows on the family’s golf course, making the celebration deeply personal. Surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones, the day felt as meaningful as it was joyful.

A romantic palette of soft blush pinks and creams set the tone for the ceremony, adding warmth and elegance to the occasion. The family-owned venue created an intimate, welcoming atmosphere where guests could fully enjoy both the breathtaking outdoor ceremony and the reception that followed.

The day after the wedding, Kolby and Badin took time to relax and savor the joy of their celebration before jetting off to Aruba that Monday. Their tropical escape was the perfect way to begin married life, and the island will forever hold a special place in their hearts
