The Proposal

On their fourth-year anniversary of dating, Ethan Spray proposed to Randa Sloan at the Cross Timbers Winery in Grapevine, Texas. Randa was preparing to move to Austin, Texas, for three months for a rotation, and Ethan set up the perfect proposal with the help of Randa’s maid of honor.

With a two-year engagement, planning for their wedding was seamless and stress-free for Randa and Ethan up until the last few weeks before the big day. Everything came together perfectly for their wedding.

The Big Day

Randa Sloan and Ethan Spray were married on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Grand Ivory in Leonard, Texas, surrounded by their friends and family in an intimate ceremony. The big day was everything the couple dreamed of and more. The venue was tastefully decorated with a wooden cross, a flower wall, and outdoor string lights. During the reception, guests enjoyed delicious wood-fired pizzas from Cavalli Pizza. The four-tied wedding cake was decorated with pearl embellishments and floral decorations. The groom’s cake featured the Texas Tech College logo.

The Retreat

Randa and Ethan traveled to Italy for their honeymoon. They left the morning after their wedding and flew to Florence, Italy, where they stayed for a couple of days. They visited Tuscany for a wine tour and Cinque Terre. After Florence, they headed to Rome and spent two nights in the city. The newlyweds enjoyed tours of the Vatican, the Roman Forums, and the Coliseum. They finished their 10-day honeymoon in the beautiful Sorrento, Italy, where they were able to take a boat tour to the island of Capri.
