Sara Grace Todd and Jared Jones are both graduates of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. After Sara Grace graduated, she moved to LaGrange, Georgia, where she met Jared at a couple’s wedding shower. Following a long courtship, Jared proposed to Sara Grace at his home in LaGrange.

In Preparation

While touring wedding venues, Sara Grace and Jared fell in love with the Oakfuskee Conservation Center in LaGrange, Georgia. The location was amazing, as it was just an hour south of Atlanta, Georgia, and overlooked West Point Lake. As soon as the couple toured the special events facility, they knew the venue was perfect and wanted to be married there. Sara Grace and Jared’s wedding was one of the first weddings held at Oakfuskee Conservation Center.

The Big Day

In front of 300 friends and family members, Sara Grace Todd and Jared Jones were married on April 13, 2024, at Oakfuskee Conservation Center in LaGrange, Georgia. Outdoor elements were added to the table settings, with trees used as centerpieces, greenery, and candles, as well as fashionable mismatched vintage china and drinking goblets. Sara Grace wore her great-grandmother’s handkerchief for “something blue.” Jared’s daughter had the honor of being a junior bridesmaid.

The wedding day was filled with love from the couple’s friends and family. The waterfront ceremony took place in front of a cross adorned with beautiful flowers. The wedding cake and strawberry shortcake were served on vintage cake plates, perfectly completing Sara Grace’s vintage inspired English garden theme. During the reception, guests gathered inside and on the outdoor porch, enjoying the gorgeous views, delicious food, and lively band.

At the end of the wedding ceremony at Oakfuskee Conservation Center, Sara Grace surprised Jared with a tribute to their alma mater. Guests shook Auburn University shakers, and the college’s fight song was played as the couple made their exit.
