The Proposal
Tiffany was born and raised in Australia and planned to spend a short but rewarding year abroad in Raleigh, North Carolina. One evening while Tiffany was out exploring the city, she met her future husband, Tyler. He was immediately captivated by her beautiful smile and endearing Australian accent. From that night on, they spent every day together. After five months of dating, Tyler proposed while on a luxurious vacation in the Bahamas. Tiffany’s year-long adventure in North Carolina quickly became her permanent home, and she’s so happy that it did.
In Preparation
Tiffany and Tyler tied the knot on January 30, 2021, in the Ballroom at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel in Tyler’s home state of North Carolina. They both felt that the elegant Ballroom suited their personalities and knew they had to book it in during their first site visit. After learning that January 30, 2021, (exactly one year after Tyler’s proposal date) was available, it was a sure sign that they had selected the perfect venue. Tiffany and Tyler opted for a classic and timeless wedding theme with crisp, white florals. They also loved the convenience of having the rehearsal dinner and ceremony located within the North Hills shopping district. It meant Tiffany could spend the whole weekend at the hotel and have all of the wedding vendors meet her there to prepare.
The Big Day
Blown Away Salon Raleigh closed their store on a busy Saturday to go to the bridal party hotel suite, and prepare Tiffany and her bridesmaids’ hair and makeup. Their incredible photographer, Hillary Muelleck, captured the couple’s day beautifully. They discovered her work during the wedding planning process and her talent left a huge impression on the couple. Tiffany and Tyler will never forget the candlelit reception dinner at the Renaissance and the specialty cocktail inspired by the Australian Dessert ‘Pavlova’. They’re also so grateful for their wedding planner, Tara from Premiere Party Planners. The timeless ceremony with a live violinist was a dream for both the bride and groom!
The Retreat
The newlyweds honeymooned at the all-inclusive Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort where they spent time enjoying each other’s company, massages, and relaxing on the beach with cocktails.
