Alicia Lee

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, I’ve been playing with makeup since I was in the sixth grade. In fact, I was so obsessed, I would save up my allowance money to go buy magazines that had makeup tips and tricks, since this was way before the era of YouTube and Instagram tutorials. Although I lived in New York and did cosmetics for a salon up there for a time, my heart was in Memphis, and so here I am again in the Bluff City. I’m a licensed cosmetologist, and I do both hair and makeup. In particular, I love doing bridal looks because I find it so special to make someone feel beautiful on one of the most important days of her life. Working photoshoots is one of my favorite parts of my job, because I feed off the constant energy and creativity that I get to be a part of at the shoot. Though I love both hair and makeup, makeup will always be my biggest love, and I am pretty sure that I’ll be doing makeup until the day I die, because for me, it’s my passion, not a job!
