We’ve collected 5 all white wedding cakes for the classic and more traditional brides (or just everyone) to drool over. While non-traditional wedding cakes are basically filling up our Pinterest and Instagram feeds, we think a simple and clean all white cake is absolutely still a show stopper.
Why are wedding cakes traditionally white? Well, of course the color white has been historically associated with weddings as a symbol of purity, but that is not the only explanation for white wedding cakes. Wedding cakes were originally known as the bride’s cake. The white cake created a visual link to the brides white dress. Today, brides are often coordinating the color of their wedding dress to the color of their cake, even if it’s not the traditional white.
