Mattie’s search for the perfect dress started in Nashville at B. Hughes Bridal salon with her mom, Denise, and her two sisters. At the suggestion of Karen, at B.Hughes, Mattie, her mom and sisters headed to New York City to visit four renowned bridal salons to see some of the latest styles for the fall. After a fun couple of days in NYC, Mattie found the perfect dress at the Vera Wang Bridal Salon.
She envisioned something classic, timeless and elegant. She chose a Vera Wang light ivory silk faille ball gown style with an strapless sweetheart neckline. Her cathedral length veil featured a scalloped edge with both custom applied crystals and lace peonies. A wide crystal and pearl sash perfectly completed the elegant, timeless look she desired.
Hamilton Jewelers of Palm Beach, Florida crafted magnificent custom rings for the bride and groom. The bride’s ring was highlighted with a 2.5 carat cushion-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of diamonds, as well as diamonds down each side. A matching diamond eternity band complemented the engagement ring perfectly. The groom chose a classic 5mm polished platinum band.
