The photographers are provided the same venues decorated by top local wedding planners and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a design competition showcasing the works of talented wedding professionals from local areas. Each designer is given the task to create an exceptional wedding ceremony and reception arrangement in the provided venue.

Nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, Puesta Del Sol Farm is a breathtaking location. Surrounded by lush fields and a mountainous backdrop, it was a stunning and serene venue for this photoshoot.
Designer Meredith Blair aimed to create an elevated multicultural wedding celebration for the Puesta Del Sol Styled Shoot. This concept features two individuals from different backgrounds, families, and cultures, inviting you to experience a harmonious blend that evokes magic and delight. Drawing inspiration from both Eastern and Western traditions, uniting them in a ceremony and reception that captures the essence of a new familial bond.
To achieve this, the designer incorporated classic Southeast Asian elements such as bridal henna, hanging floral garlands, and a mid-reception dress exchange featuring a traditional saree. Western influences are reflected in the bride and groom’s wedding attire and the overall flow of this beautiful event, including fun additions like custom drinks and a photo booth. The design team emphasizes the fusion of cultures through food and decor, celebrating the joy of blending two distinct traditions.
The wedding’s style is warm and luxurious, showcasing hints of Southeast Asian influences throughout the design by incorporating rich jewel tones in shades of magenta, deep turquoise, and burnt marigold. Brass accents and dark woods transport the bridal party and guests from the familiar to the exotic.
