With several cooking areas the private back room is set with four cooking stations and a large table, perfect for a private party. After grabbing a drink time to meet one of many of their talented instructors. Many are not only amazing chefs, but also New Orleans history experts providing a historical account of many of the dishes that are on the class menu. The group is broken up into teams to tackle the four stations that are set up with ingredients for the different courses of the meal. An example is: stuffed mushrooms, shrimp bisque, crawfish etouffee, bananas foster and chocolate pralines. The chef encourages each group to add their own flair as the chef oversees. By the end of the cooking class your group will all be singing and dancing around the kitchen. The best part of the cooking is the eating. At the end of the preparation your group will be invited to sit down to enjoy the fabulous creations! The experience is a fun take-away experience for everyone involved. It will be hard to leave the wonderful class, but excited to get home and try on your own chef apron and bring some New Orleans fare to your own kitchen.
