 Bella Baxter Special Events began with the simple idea that events should be stress-free and have personality. Excited to be in their 5th year in business, Bella Baxter opened in 2010 after Katherine Shell Benson had enjoyed 10 years planning events and catering for well know companies in Little Rock, AR and after she was married, in Memphis, TN. Katherine was tired of the idea of turn-key, cookie cutter weddings that blurred together. So she with the help of an interior designer friend conceived Bella Baxter Special Events, a company where concierge service, modern elegance, and custom design meet, where every wedding shows the personality of the client and does it in style! In 2013, Katherine was joined by the wonderfully organized, Teryn Horton as Bella Baxter’s second Lead Coordinator, but the team doesn’t stop there! From Laura, their brilliant Bookkeeper to Matt, their Production dynamo to Chynna, the amazing Intern – the Bella Baxter team is here to make sure your event goes perfectly and with a smile!

There are so many things Bella Baxter offers their Brides, the biggest thing being peace of mind. Most brides and grooms have never planned a wedding before and even with all the guides and advice out there for them on the internet, it’s a very daunting task. Brides often reach out to them overwhelmed and in need of help. Once they become Bella Baxter Brides, they relax knowing that their wedding celebrations will be what they see (or sometimes feel) in their head and that Bella Baxter will take the stress of the hard stuff away! Bella Baxter will organize their ideas, bring new options and designs based on their ideas (and lots of times their Pinterest boards!), guide them through the whole wedding planning process, and make sure they and their families don’t have to lift a finger on the wedding day.
