Built in 1846, Cedar Hall is one of the oldest properties in Bartlett, Tennessee. The three story Colonial Revival home, which is listed on the National Historical Register, got its name from the cedar tress that lined the drive to the home. Home to several prominent Memphis-area families over the years, Cedar Hall was converted to a bed and breakfast and wedding venue in 2012.
The bride and her bridesmaid get ready in the elegant Rainey Room before descending the stunning spiral staircase. The Formal Garden is the most popular ceremony site. The bride makes her grand entrance through the wisteria arch and walks down the original brick walk aisle to meet her groom. Up to 250 guests will celebrate with you surrounded by lavender crepe myrtles and yellow roses. After the ceremony, guests will retire to the English Gardens for a cocktail hour while the couple takes pictures. Then, everyone will meet in the beautiful stables for the reception. Rafter ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, wood floors, and an exposed brick wall are a gorgeous backdrop for your celebration. The Stables also serves as an alternative ceremony site in case of inclement weather, and the upstairs Gentleman’s Lounge is the ideal spot for the groom and his friends to relax and prepare before the ceremony.
