Designer’s Note
“The color scheme for this bright bohemian shoot is a nod to the bold, saturated colors of the flowers we sourced from local farmers.
To let the bright hues of the florals and the beauty of the nature-filled venue take center stage, we focused on keeping the rest of the color scheme and textiles fairly neutral (except for those boho printed napkins, which we couldn’t resist!)
We also wanted to weave our bounty of local flowers throughout the design, especially in the elements shared with guests, like the platters of macarons displayed on a bed of wildflowers.
The smudge stick escort cards, which doubled as favors for our guests, were hand rolled and bound with dried sage, lavender and rose petals—a lovely takeaway designed to bring the scent and colors of the day home with guests.” – Elizabeth Ulrich of Elizabeth Ulrich Designs
