Today on the Southern Bride Blog we are sharing some wedding cakes with fabulous “Frosted Frills”. Whether simple, small, grand or large, a cake with frosted frills and ruffles adds texture and a feminine touch, which brides love to see in their wedding cake design.
Ruffles can cover the entire cake or be incorporated with another design to add fun, flirty texture. We like how the two designs were mixed in the cake below with ruffles only on one tier:
This next cake is oh so grand and well, simply GORGEOUS! Ruffles cover the cake from top to bottom and in different shades of beautiful watercolor pastels. Love this cake for a Spring or Summer wedding!
