If a Kleinfeld appointment is on your calendar, here’s a little insider tip before you go: the salon just added a new collection, and the story behind it is just as good as the gowns themselves. Instead of a designer shipping dresses to a store and hoping they’d sell, this was a true collaboration from day one. Martina Liana’s Head Designer, Martine Harris, worked closely with Kleinfeld’s Director of Merchandising, Dorothy Silver, and Assistant Buyer, Caitlin Arigoni, discussing what the market was missing, reviewing sketches, and refining fabrics and details as each gown came to life.
“This collaboration gave me the freedom to expand Martina Liana’s signature aesthetic through the lens of the modern Kleinfeld bride,” Harris said.
She described the design process as fashion-forward, where pushing proportion, developing exclusive fabrics, and adding hand-applied details make each piece feel special. As Harris said, the luxury in this collection comes not from excess but from the craftsmanship and individuality behind every design, a new expression of Martina Liana built specifically for the Kleinfeld bride.
Silver echoed that enthusiasm from the Kleinfeld side: “Our stylists are absolutely loving the new collection, and so are our brides. We couldn’t be more excited to see our brides and staff fall in love with these gowns.”
The collection debuted with an intimate runway presentation, where Harris was on hand to talk through the partnership, the design process, and the craftsmanship behind each gown.
If you’re headed to Kleinfeld for a fitting soon, don’t be surprised if a stylist pulls something from this new lineup. It might be the dress you didn’t know you wanted.
The Martina Liana for Kleinfeld collection is available now, exclusively at Kleinfeld Bridal.
