The color palette takes its cue from the runway—layered neutrals that feel anything but ordinary. Shade upon shade of rich earth tones bring depth and dimension, evoking a sense of luxury that’s both timeless and of-the-moment.
For the reception, the design leans into residential-inspired details, creating a grounded, intimate atmosphere within a fleeting celebration. Lush florals from The Floral Way soften the look, adding a feminine touch to a palette that might otherwise read as bold and masculine.
Making full use of The Edition’s distinctive spaces, the aesthetic builds in intensity, culminating in a finale that is equal parts edgy and sophisticated.
Maximalist neutrals prove their power here—fashion-forward, floral-driven, and meticulously considered. Every element has been designed to make a lasting impression.

Styled SHOOTS by Southern Bride is a wedding photographer competition where we feature some of the best wedding photographers across the nation. The photographers are provided the same venues, decorated by top local wedding planners, and are graded based on their unique vision and imagery of the venue and its design details.
The Styled Challenge is a local wedding design and photography competition showcasing talented wedding professionals’ work. Each design team is tasked with creating an exceptional wedding ceremony, reception setting, and ‘wild card’ space within popular venues nationwide. The editors at Southern Bride vote on the winners for each of the design awards. These designs are featured in Southern Bride Magazine, SouthernBride.com, and Southern Bride’s social media outlets.
