“Timeless Romance” wasn’t just a theme—it was a feeling designer Aleah Stacee wanted to bring to life in every detail. Stacee designed around a rich palette: navy for grounding, burgundy for depth and drama, and ivory to soften and balance the look. Her goal was to create something that felt classic and elevated, yet deeply emotional—an experience you don’t just admire, but truly feel. Shoot models Autymn and Ashton, a real-life couple, brought a sense of effortless glamour and genuine connection that grounded the entire shoot. Their chemistry reminds us that the most beautiful love stories are the ones that feel real, not styled.

The ceremony featured soft ivory draping and florals that were lush yet intentional, creating a graceful, heartfelt space. For the reception, Stacee layered ornate gold chargers, vintage-inspired flatware, and glowing candlelight over deep-toned blooms to craft a scene that radiated warmth and intimacy. The Standard Club—with its timeless architecture and iconic golf course clock—was more than just a backdrop. It became part of the story. To honor the venue’s heritage, subtle nods to its golf legacy—like a golf ball groom’s cake and portraits on the green—were woven into the story without overpowering the aesthetic.
What the photos don’t show are the challenges that unfolded behind the scenes. The shoot was scheduled for mid-January, just after an unexpected snowstorm hit Atlanta. The day before, Stacee learned the venue had lost partial power and the heat was completely out. As the planner, she had to pivot quickly. Stacee reorganized the shot list to maximize daylight, picked up wireless lights for the photographers, and brought in large space heaters so the team could warm up between takes. She also arranged catering last-minute after learning the venue had to toss all food due to the outage. It was freezing, and the circumstances were far from ideal—but the team showed up with so much passion and dedication. They kept the vision alive, and Stacee was immensely grateful for all 22 vendors involved. With a real-life couple, a tight timeline, and unexpected challenges, they didn’t have the luxury of do-overs. It ran more like a real wedding than a styled shoot—and that made the final result feel even more rewarding. Blending creativity, heartfelt teamwork, and timeless Southern romance, this story will resonate with many and leave them truly inspired.
