This precious Alabama wedding wasn’t set out to be a “St. Patrick’s Day” wedding, however, we think all these sweet shades of green seen in the wedding details are perfect to share with you in honor of todays holiday.
Rebecca Harmon and Samuel Petersen were married May 17, 2014 at the Old Brick Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Rebecca, an interior designer with a degree from Mississippi College, planned an aesthetically splendid affair with personal touches such as her DIY paper bouquets held by herself and her bridesmaids. Her farm inspired wedding was complete with all the charm of southern hospitality, including five wedding cakes and four wedding pies, beloved pets and barn yard animals, and country style vintage decor. To top it all off, in leu of a first dance, the couple serenaded their guest as a duet with the song “Cake and Eggs” by Deer Tick.
