Dr. Samuel Mansfield built Annesdale Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee in 1850. Colonel Robert C. Brinkley bought the estate as a wedding present for his daughter, Annie Overton Brinkley, and her husband, Colonel Robert Bogardus Snowden. He named the estate “Annesdale” in her honor. After undergoing extensive restoration and modern updates, the estate opened as a wedding and event venue in 2013.
