There was no detail too small when coordinating the beautiful wedding weekend for Hillary and Brandon last spring. Every decision was thoughtful and meaningful. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped in a rosary from her Great Grandmother and she carried a silk handkerchief that was her Grandfather’s. Hillary’s wedding gown had a piece of her mother’s wedding dress sewn in with a special embroidered message in blue, and there was a sixpence in her shoe.

The ceremony was held in Downtown Memphis’ beautiful St. Patrick Catholic Church with Monsignor Val Handwerker presiding. The couple said “I do” in the gorgeous Continental Ballroom at The Peabody Hotel which was adorned with custom furniture and lavish flowers.

The party really turned up when Mighty Souls Brass Band started a Second Line! This was a nod to the groom and his family who are from Louisiana. Champagne flutes were topped with miniature rubber ducks to remind guests about the special friends just downstairs splashing around in the lobby fountain. English Tea Paperie created beautiful watercolor images for each table that represented special moments from the newlyweds’ courtship. From the harpist to the live artist painter, all of the important elements came together flawlessly, creating a magical and memorable weekend.
