Love, in Waves was inspired by the idea that love is always in motion. It grows, evolves, circles back, and carries us through life. This sentiment became the foundation for a wedding design defined by sweeping forms, sculptural curves, and circular details that symbolized love’s ever-changing journey.
A palette of white and ivory established a timeless foundation, layered with gold accents, crystal details, candlelight, and reflective surfaces. Sculptural wave forms rose above the reception tables and carried through to the ceremony, creating a cohesive design that felt both romantic and contemporary. Curved stationery and softly folded napkins echoed the organic shapes, while white florals offered a classic counterpoint to the architectural details.
The bride’s bouquet introduced an unexpected burst of color against her sleek white gown. Long, exposed stems, deliberate negative space, and blooms arranged at varying heights created a loose, sculptural silhouette. Hints of pink, blush, mauve, and white added softness and dimension, while the winding stems reinforced the design’s flowing aesthetic. Paired with the groom’s classic black tuxedo, the look struck a balance between timeless elegance and modern expression.

The cake display extended the symbolism of everlasting love through a circular structure framing the confection. Sculpted waves adorned the cake itself, while an open space within the third tier created the illusion of a floating design. The result was an artful statement that blended architectural intrigue with romantic symbolism.
Thoughtful details also elevated the guest experience. A champagne tower invited guests to celebrate together, while a midnight snack wall offered a playful surprise later in the evening. These interactive elements brought a sense of spontaneity to the carefully curated setting, ensuring the celebration felt as memorable as it looked.

At its heart, Love, in Waves illustrates that timeless wedding design need not be predictable. By pairing familiar traditions with sculptural florals, modern forms, and unexpected experiences, couples can create a celebration that feels both cohesive and deeply personal. Every detail becomes part of a larger story—one that honors tradition while embracing the beauty of love in constant motion.
