Allison Wintring and Austin Dennis married on May 21, 2022, at Richwood on the River in Milton, Kentucky. The pair met in the fall of 2013 while attending the University of Louisville. After seven wonderful years together, Austin proposed in March 2020 on the banks of the Ohio River.
The wedding festivities began when their family and bridal party arrived on a Friday afternoon to stay the weekend at the historic bed and breakfast. That night, guests enjoyed a casual rehearsal dinner by the pool. The next morning, Allison and her bridesmaids gathered for glitter-filled mimosas while having their hair and makeup done. Austin and his groomsmen enjoyed celebratory bourbon in a nearby cabin on the property.
Allison arrived at the outdoor ceremony in a fairy-tale-like horse-drawn carriage. She wore an Eve of Milady gown from the luxury bridal salon Bella Bianca, and as she walked down the rose-petal aisle to meet her groom, “Trumpet Voluntary” played. The couple chose classic, romantic décor and flowers from local Hazelfield Farms. Unique handmade details by the bride’s mother were also incorporated. After a toast to the newlyweds, the bride’s father invited guests to release the live butterflies from their table centerpieces while “Come Fly with Me” played in the background.
Allison and Austin danced the evening away surrounded by loving friends and family. The night ended with a surprise flaming donut bar for their guests and a private last dance. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis honeymooned in Jamaica at Excellence Oyster Bay.
