Olivia Joyce Holloway and John Taliaferro Franklin were married on the Autumnal Equinox, September 22nd, 2018. In the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, friends and family gathered to share in the celebration of their love. Earthly shades of green, blue, and ivory created a magically elegant banquet hall. The venue was transformed with tall seasonal branches, woodland greenery, moss, and lanterns. The wedding was filled with many handcrafted touches. Signs were painted by the bride, the sweetheart table was built by her father, a wood burned cake platter and wreath handcrafted by cousins. Southern-inspired hors d’ oeuvres such as fried chicken on a donut and palmetto cheese puffs kept guest happy throughout the night. After a night of music and dancing, the bride and groom were sent off to a ringing of bells.
